Privacy Policy

This page describes the privacy behavior currently implemented in Collectiv.

Essential storage

Collectiv uses browser storage and cookies required for core site operation, such as maintaining consent choices and supporting authenticated sessions. These cannot be disabled through the optional analytics choice.

Optional analytics

If NEXT_PUBLIC_GA_ID is configured, Collectiv can load Google Analytics only after you choose “Accept analytics.” Analytics is opt-in and is not initialized before that choice. Rejecting or withdrawing analytics consent leaves the core app available.

Changing your choice

Use “Privacy choices” in the site footer to reopen the consent preferences. Disabling analytics updates your consent and asks the consent engine to clear the configured Google Analytics cookies.

Questions and account deletion

The repository does not define a dedicated privacy contact address. For privacy or data questions, use the in-app Feedback control. A self-service account deletion path is not currently available; the account settings control is marked “coming soon.”
